There are many advantages of jet boats over traditional stern drive boats; the most important one is the safety measures, the jet boat uses an impeller for the propulsion rather than a propeller, which is used in other types of boats' drive systems. The impeller spins inside of the pump cavity, making the boat safer for anyone near it in the water. Additionally, since the propulsion system is built inside of the boat hull, the water enters the pump cavity from the bottom of the hull. Therefore, jet boats do not require as much water depth as other traditional stern driven boats, meaning that you can have far more boating opportunities in shallow waters that other RC boaters could only watch! The Pilot RX55- The first jet boat that Arrow Shark has designed and produced from conception to finish. The design integrates a jet boat hull bottom and an offshore racing boat appearance! The light weight material of carbon fiber makes the hull weights less than 3KG, but still retains super rigidity and delivers outstanding performance of quick acceleration and unmatched turning ability while catching the envy of others! In order to equip the RX-55 appropriately, Arrow Shark developed a brand new propulsion system called Ultra-Jet. This luxury drive system from Arrow Shark was completed using a 5-axis CNC machining center. The Ultra-Jet not only performs well, it is the best in its class and is truly a work of art. The high-tech appearance of the Ultra-Jet system associates with the ultimate power of the newly released power-plant options of X-30 or X-60 marine engines that Arrow Shark developed, makes this ride unforgettable. These features, combined with its awesome custom-built exhaust system, give you all the ingredients necessary for both an eye-appealling ride and a strong performance to hit the water in any condition. |
