| [Brief Description] | The full size jet drive propulsion system are used in variety boat application today from personal fishing boat to a very expensive yacht, it offers efficiency at higher speed levels as well precise cruising in shallow waters, it also has the ability to perform in ways that a stern drive couldn’t dream of. Jet drive has extremely quick acceleration and unmatched turning ability, it also delivers much safer measure compare to the stern drives as the jet drive do not have an exterior propeller, it runs by impeller which is turning inside the impeller housing, this means that there is no longer the risk of accidents related to the spinning prop compare to the propeller that use in the stern drive exposes behind the boat.
For over a year of designing from scratch with countless testing and improving, Arrow Shark is extremely proud to introduce and release this extraordinary final version of jet propulsion drive system-Ultra-Jet, The main components of Ultra-Jet are precision-engineered and manufactured with up-to-date CNC technology, especially the intake body was squarely machined from an aluminum block and results with a radiant external finish whilst any unnecessary surplus metal was removed to reach its optimum weight. Most impeller for the RC jet in the market was made of aluminum which is softer and more prone to wear and easy to deform, therefore, we made our impeller in copper same material we use to make all of our pro-mod propeller series, there are many advantages with copper impeller that including resistance to abrasion and deterioration when small rocks or sand are sucked through the jet unit, our 52mm in diameter four-blades copper impeller works perfectly with 54mm inner diameter of billet housing, it is not only improve the longevity, also delivers outstanding performance. The bolting connection between the impeller housing and billet main body is fully adjustable, you can rotate everything behind the impeller housing at certain degree with the main body retains at the original position, this unique design is to enable customer to set up the twin Ultra-Jet application when it is required, as when you install twin Ultra-Jet to a boat, the complete jet drive will be installed at certain angle to match the angle of the hull bottom, therefore, everything behind the main body needs to be adjusted back to Horizontal position in order for the reverse bucket to function properly, and that brings the value to this smartly design. Ultra-Jet comes with two 20kg hi-torque metal servos for handling both steering nozzle and reverse bucket, the servos were assembled with the position fully adjustable servo mount for the most flexible installation and easy maintenance. In order to prevent the rusty or corrosion, we use high quality stainless steel bearings for those in exposed position, and it works extremely smooth for the connection between steering bowl, steering nozzle and reverse bucket, the bearing set up is not only increase the performance for the steering operation compare to the more commonly copper bush set up, it also particularly embellishes the appearance of Ultra-Jet. The billet material with precisely CNC construction makes the reverse bucket not only durable but also stylish, plus the exceptional design of servo control linkage set up make this draw back function unbeatable in its class.
