XP254M Ultra Performance Marine Engine - Billet Version

Arrow Shark Hobby is very proud to introduce a totally new marine engine for 2010 - our billet version of the XP254M. Designed and manufactured exclusively for Arrow Shark Hobby, this 25.4cc power-plant produces just over 6+hp with a rev range from 3,800 to 19,000+rpm. It delivers a potent performance that matches or exceeds all but the most heavily modified racing engines. Even so, the XP254M remains easy to start and tune, and has a steady idle with smooth, reliable running.
With a bore of 34mm and a stroke of 28mm, our billet XP254M is built with extensive use of CNC-manufactured components. Selected parts have been anodized in either silver or bright red for corrosion protection and a striking appearance. Amongst the CNC features are the water-cooled jacket for the cylinder head, the adjustable ignition timing back plate, the rotated carb insulation block and intake venturi, the quick-release mounts (that come standard with the engine, although the crankcase bolt pattern takes any standard Zenoah-type mounts), and the coil mounting bracket.
A four-bearing billet crankcase combines with a billet water-cooled cylinder to give this high performance race engine a level of rigidity and strength that a cast crankcase just cannot match. The engine has a lot more low end torque for better power and speed through the corners, and delivers significantly faster acceleration than a modified Zenoah. The XP254M will give you more than 1,000 rpm over a modified Zenoah, yet our new engine will be easier and cheaper to maintain or rebuild.

The high power output is a result of an exclusive design, and the XP254M features a precisely CNC-machined cylinder sleeve with four transfer ports. Other features include a high performance single-ring piston, ultra-flow porting for the inlet and exhaust tracts, a circular exhaust port and a Walbro WT257 big bore carburetor. The CNC carb insulation block has been rotated to allow an easier and more direct throttle linkage, and also to position the idle setting and the high and low speed needles to where they can be more conveniently adjusted.

The high-tech appearance of the XP254M matches its awesome power, and will give any boat an immediately noticeable advantage in both eye-appeal and outright performance.

Note: All XP254M engines has been upgraded on 7-19-2010, the upgrade detail as following:
