The Arrow Shark Research and Development Team has been busy in recent months and, as well as our stunning new MC611 stern drive for inboard engines, we are very proud to release for 2011 this second ¡°work of art¡± ¨C our CNC Billet F1-11 Outboard Drive. Setting a new high standard for scale fidelity matched with effective operation, Arrow Shark has introduced these stunning replicas of the trim tabs used on full size offshore race boats. With fine detail machining and simulated dual hydraulic rams that control the angle of the tab plates, these units are easy to install and just as easy to manually adjust for fine tuning the ride angle of your boat. On larger hulls, dual tabs can be fitted on either side of the transom for even more effective control surface area. Tuning the ride angle of your boat can improve performance in rough waters or can reduce drag for faster speeds in calm conditions; deflecting the tab on just one side of your boat can also help offset the effects of engine and prop torque for more level, and so more efficient, running. 2011 Transflexor Pipe Support Bracket
A perpetual challenge when setting up a gas boat is how to support the end of the tuned pipe. Especially when trying different headers, such as wrap-to-center, 100 degrees or 105 degrees, and when varying the length of the header to obtain the optimum tuned pipe length, being able to position your support bracket to match the position of the pipe¡¯s stinger can be anywhere between frustrating and near impossible. You can end up having to drill different mounting holes in your boat and bending or cutting support struts to try to get it all to fit together. But not anymore! Arrow Shark¡¯s revolutionary Transflexor Bracket is rubber-mounted to absorb vibration and uniquely includes multiple angle and length adjustment points so you can position the final support just about anywhere. Installing the stuffing tube through the tunnel of your hydro or cat can be difficult and messy ¨C drilling and elongating the hole, fitting the stuffing tube and ¡®glassing it in place. But now Arrow Shark updates that process with a proper Shaft Log such as is used in full size boats. This clever new product fits neatly on top of the tunnel in your boat and efficiently supports the stuffing tube with a very smart appearance that includes a red anodised oil lubrication reservoir to keep your shaft spinning cool and free all day. It looks great, and it works even better!
The exposed position of engine carbs on outboards and outrigger hulls can easily result in wash-downs and engine kills from water conditions or from the wakes or rooster tails of other boats. To help overcome this situation, Arrow Shark has released this billet-machined Carb Protector that shields the intake from direct spray without restricting the air flow into your engine. With two-way mounting holes for either normal or rotated carbies, the Protector is easy to install and just might keep your engine running when you need it most! 2011 1/4¡± Skeg Strut & Triple Bushiings
Arrow Shark's latest skeg strut features triple bushings with two lead-teflon bushes at either end to efficiently support the prop stub shaft, and a third perforated brass bush between them to better retain and distribute grease for improved lubrication, less friction and longer life. The skeg itself is hydrodynamically designed for minimal drag whilst aiding directional stability for your boat.
